Conundrums are a pain in the you-know-what for football teams. They wreck the “keep it simple, stupid” approach that most thrive on. We at OBOD, however, love conundrums. They give us a chance to come down on one side or another of an important Green Bay Packers-related issue and, of course, stir the pot – something [...] After waiting. And waiting. And waiting some more, the 2010 regular season schedule is finally out. At long last, we know the dates and times for the Green Bay Packers’ games this upcoming season. (Quick aside: Sorry we didn’t get this up earlier Tuesday. To celebrate OBOD’s own Adam Somers’ birthday, a large group of us went to [...] Two mock drafts down, two more to go until draft day (15 days from now!!). Since our last mock, three weeks ago, there have been a handful of trades/signings that have caused this third mock to change. But more than anything, the array of pro days and increased overall chatter amongst “insiders” (which we at OBOD are definitely not) [...] So far, we at OBOD have covered the hell out of free agency as it relates to the Green Bay Packers and the rest of the NFC North. (Okay, maybe we haven’t “covered the hell” out of it. But we’ve been good….solid….decent. Yeah, let’s stick with that – decent.) But what about the rest of the NFL? [...] We all know the media love affair with Favre and almost every angle about him has been covered this season. Except one. What if Brett Favre stayed with the Jets? Favre claims the only reason he came back was to have another shot at a championship, not to stick to Thompson and McCarthy. He is in good position to follow through on that claim, but now it looks like he would have had the same shot if he stayed with the Jets.
