We’ve reached day two of the 2010 NFL Draft. The Green Bay Packers will be making two selections tonight – one in the second and one in the third. Holy crap. That being the case, it’s time for me to put on my Ted Thompson cap and pretend I’m running the draft room in Green Bay. Yeah, this should be fun. Before we tee this thing off, a few ground rules: I am not going to [...] Over the past three-plus weeks, we at OBOD have done our share of talking about the 2010 draft (two days away…double holy crap). It’s been a lot of fun for us and, hopefully, you as well. The combination of size, speed and strength makes any GM drool. There might not be a better closing player in the draft at any [...] When you look at the Green Bay Packers’ needs heading into the draft, defensive line isn’t near the top of the list. That doesn’t mean it should be near the bottom, either, though. Sure, the Packers look to have a very good four-man rotation (baseball reference, sorry, it’s that time of year) in Cullen Jenkins, Ryan Pickett, Johnny Jolly and [...] Two posts on outside linebackers are in the books. We’ve still got a couple of second-round guys to get to, but the majority of this post – our last on the position - will focus on some possible mid-to-late round gems who could strike the Green Bay Packers’ fancy in the draft.
