Some possible last day targets for the Pack

Very shortly, the third and final day of the 2010 NFL Draft will commence.

The Green Bay Packers have four picks today – two in the fifth round, one in the sixth and one in the seventh. The Packers┬ásent their fourth round selection to Philadelphia to trade up for safety Morgan Burnett on Friday.

Here are some possible players who could be available – or players who, at the very least, would look good in green and gold:

  • Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech
  • Eric Norwood, OLB, South Carolina
  • Perrish Cox, CB, Oklahoma State
  • Ricky Sapp, OLB, Clemson
  • Alterraun Verner, CB, UCLA
  • Dominique Franks, CB, Oklahoma
  • O’Brien Schofield, OLB, Wisconsin
  • Cameron Sheffield, OLB, Troy
  • Brandon Lang, DE/OLB, Troy
  • Dekoda Watson, OLB, Florida State
  • Thaddeus Gibson, OLB, Ohio State
  • Joe McKnight, RB, USC
  • LeGarrette Blount, RB, Oregon
  • Joique Bell, RB, Wayne State

As usual, we’ll be checking in throughout the day (and definitely right after each of the Packers’ selections).

Happy final day of the draft, everyone!

LeGarrette Blount?!? Seriously?!? Why would the Packers want to draft such a train wreck? He’s to big of a risk on and off the field. The Packers don’t need that kind of distraction in their locker room. LeGarrette would be a good fit in Dallas.

Look at all the OLB’S and CB’s and RB’s on your list. In the 5th round dopey selected a TE and a O-lineman. No cb’s or OLB’s or Return Men or even a freeking Punter!!! Now he’ll go in the 6th and 7th and take one or both so he can say he did. I hope Murphy is watching this train wreck. I was a Ted supporter…..until now. When you’re this close to the Super Bowl, and the only thing you need to fix is the pass defence, and you turn around and draft this crap you deserve to be released. I know it sounds harsh, but how many of you think he really did everything he could to get us over the hump and on to the Super Bowl? A pot smoking, DUI driving TE??????

Mr.Murphy, Do you honestly believe we got closer to the Super Bowl after the draft? You were a Safety, you saw what happened when we played a good QB last year and in the playoffs. Can you answer one question for all packer fans? What would have happened if Aaron Rodgers hadn’t literally fallen to us? Wouldn’t we be the Detroit Lions?
