We’ve covered the Green Bay Packers’ unrestricted free agents. That was fun (at least for me) and fairly easy to do. This is where it gets tricky. Hopefully, I can make this both brief and understandable. As of now, the league and the player’s union are extremely far apart on a new CBA. I’m many things – apparently, a piss poor predictor of playoff games is one of them (thanks for the mentioning that, however brutally, jclombardi) - but I am not a liar. Again, enjoy. Nose tackle Ryan Pickett, nine years – Pickett made $3.4 [...] It’s time. That’s right, fans - it’s time to start talking Green Bay Packers offseason plans. The 2009 season is over-and-done with and the 2010 offseason is rapidly approaching. This looks to be one of the busiest offseasons in recent memory for the Pack. As of now, the team has a total of 17 players scheduled for free agency, [...] Well, my playoff predictions are off to a smashing start. After picking winners at a solid 66 percent clip during the regular season, I nailed exactly one pick last weekend. And, of course, it wasn’t our beloved Green Bay Packers. No, I guessed correctly on the hated Dallas Cowboys. Of course it had to be them. Of course it [...] It has taken me a few days to actually talk about the Packers, let alone write about them. But I am an adult and sports are well, just sports. There are far more important things to worry about in life. Will I be disappointed not to see the Packers get their shot at the Saints? [...] What the Green Bay Packers will do this offseason is currently a hot topic amongst most fans. We at OBOD are certainly aware of this. And starting Monday, we’re going to tackle the crap out of it (unlike Green Bay’s defense against Arizona).
