Packers fans rejoice…and Vikings fans are crushed (AHAHAHAHA!!)

Originally, I thought about writing a recap of Sunday night’s NFC Championship Game.

By now, though, we all know what went down in New Orleans, so there’s no real reason to recap the game itself (don’t worry – we’ll be back with plenty more Judas bashing in the days ahead). It was great. It was epic. It was the ending we all wanted. More than that, it was the ending we – and Judas – all deserved.

Shortly after the Minnesota Vikings’ hilariously heartbreaking loss, many of our friends – Adam, Gene and I are pretty popular, if you don’t know – took to Facebook, either to vent their frustrations (Vikings fans) or express their jubilation (Packers fans).

After pouring over these various status updates, the three of us decided it would be funny to run some of them as a post. We’ve left out the last names of all involved (the whole privacy thing, you know?) and have broken it up into two sections. We’re going to let the good guys (us Green Bay fans) go first. Minnesota fans will follow.

And, lastly, we won’t know until later today, but we very well could be back with another round of these. Make sure to check back for that.

Bob - Losing to the Vikings twice this year stung, but seeing Favre blow another NFC title game in that fashion made it all worth it.

Chris – thinks paramedics should be called to New Orleans stat. Fav-ruh is choking again! Like you KNEW he would! As Kenny Powers would say, you’re (expletive deleted) out!

Steve – Those who don’t learn from history are destined to repeat it. Favre didn’t learn from the 2007 NFC chanpionship game. I’m glad he’s not Green Bay’s problem anymore!!!

Robert – Ready to see how many used Favre Vikings jersey’s will be on Craiglist and eBay tomorrow…

Jason - IT’S GOOOOOOD!!!!!!! WHO DAT!!!! WHO DAT!! Another Favre interception to lose the game.

Ben – Oh when the Saints go marching in… to MIAMI!!!

Zach - At least when my team lost, I took it and answered my phone Vikings fans…ha

Zac – So glad I don’t have to watch Farve in the Super Bowl.

Benjamin – Well, the important thing to remember here is that after all the drama, all that preseason hype, the Vikings still have not won a Super Bowl.

Amy – Favre on the ground, Favre on the ground, looking for a victory with Favre on the ground…..helmet turned sideways, turf in his mouth, looking for a victory with Favre on the ground”….copy and paste this to your status if you are Saints fan (for one game at least) or a Vi-Queens hater!

Ben – You know what I love about sports? Sometimes, justice gets the egotistical drama queen at just the right time.

Dave – oh vintage Favre…always keepin it INTeresting…bahahaha

Todd – Dear Brett Favre please come back for 1 more season

Ben – Hey Brett: When you’re at the Pro Bowl next week, can you continue to not mentor Aaron Rodgers? Wouldn’t want you rubbing off on him.

Ashley – So glad I don’t have to hear about the Vikes anymore ….it’s my least favorite thing about living in MN …even more than winter.

Brad – “This stadium used to be wet…” It still is, it’s soaked with the tears of Brett Favre.

Jerry - Hey Minnesota and all the bandwagoners out there. . . What do u think of favre now?

Erin – Well at least I didn’t end up being disappointed about being disappointed.

Art - I will never ever, ever, ever, ever give one inch to supporting another Minnesota Team…I don’t support the choke stars and I’ll even tell DP that his brother choked the game…”put two hands on it” -Thats what she said!

Mike – You know what… we had a good run. And to all you Packer fans, at least we made it this far. Your golden boy Rodgers would’ve folded…

Chad – They just break your heart…every time

Scott – Wow…i’ve never been so up and down in a three hour period of time. I’m super bummed out but remain optimistic that somehow, someday, one of the teams I call my own will win it all. (+ or – 20 yrs???)

Brett – is glad today that his favorite team is the Twins.

Aaron – So I say that next year they come up with a rule that says you can challenge penalty calls. And I must say that we didn’t play nearly as good as we could have.

Jon – typical Vikes… give you just enough hope to CRUSH it.

Billy – choke what’s new

Molly - I mean, really, did we think it could happen? Thanks for nothing, Vikes.

Michael – WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?

Sarah – feels so defeated, could have been better but there were some dirty plays/calls and I still love the Vikings!

Nate – same old Vikes, same old loss. Oh well, at least I don’t have to think about it anymore.

Jess – thinks any Vikings fan surprised by that is not a real Vikings fan.

Aaron – Terrible calls refs and I can’t believe Brett threw that int at the last second in regulation (same guy as before)

Drew – I’ve said it for years: Vikings simply cannot win an NFC title game. Not in my lifetime.
