After talking with Chris today, we vehemently agreed that Judas is dead and we need to move to more important items. However, one of my favorite national columnists, Jason Whitlock, has a real interesting and funny take on Judas. To be frank, I am a little disappointed that I didn’t come up with this [...] Back in mid-July, when Judas was in the midst of flirting with the Queens, we told you about the Judas Favre t-shirts (a link to their site can be found in our blogroll on the right) we had discovered and how we thought you all should get one in order to make your true feelings [...] I have plenty of thoughts on the Judas saga (will post them at a later time), but for now, wanted to throw an idea out: What if, at Lambeau Field on Nov. 1, when the Vikings offense is announced (and for the love of God, they better announce the Vikings offense), there isn’t a sound in [...] It has been about 36 hours since Judas landed in Saint Paul and headed to the Vikings’ headquarters to ink his signature on Hell’s guestbook. I recently moved and had limited internet access until tonight, which almost has been a blessing in disguise because I have somewhat curbed Judas-overkill. Unfortunately, I have [...] This time of day, this space is usually reserved for an edition of Training Camp stew. Tuesday, however, was not like most days (don’t worry, the Stew will return later tonight). Tuesday, Judas died. Okay, okay – he didn’t die in any real sense. He’s still alive, probably sitting somewhere in Minneapolis pretending to be a simple, good [...] Well, he did it. The son of a bitch did it. If you haven’t heard by now, Judas is officially going to be a Viking. He jumped on owner Zygi Wilf’s private jet (he rides on an awful lot of private jets for a “simple country boy” doesn’t he?) this morning and is now at the Vikings’ [...] Saturday night, we began to see just what kind of team the Green Bay Packers might be this season. There were a lot of signs that the Pack could be pretty damn good as they blanked the Cleveland Browns 17-0 at Lambeau Field. Still, there were some areas that were cringe-worthy (for the first preseason game, anyways). With [...] |
