As we all know, training camp will soon be upon us (12 days and counting!!). With that, we at OBOD decided it was high time we looked at how Green Bay’s main competition – i.e., the other teams in the NFC North – did during the offseason. We’ll each be taking one team with the reviews [...] This post you’re reading is our 100th at OBOD. We’ve had a blast so far and we plan on having even more fun once the games and practices, you know, start actually happening. Seeing as we’ve now hit the century mark, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you, the readers. You haven’t always loved [...] The 1990’s gave us a lot of memories. Grunge Music. The evolution of the internet. Baywatch. Two Super Bowl runs and one Lombardi Trophy. Seinfeld. Jay & Silent Bob. Surge soda. Playstation. Y2K. McGwire vs. Sosa. Spice Girls. Viagra. Mandy Moore (ok, personal one for me). Most importantly the 90’s gave us the Ron Wolf Era. [...] So, two faces down and no controversy. That’s to be expected, though. After all, Earl “Curly” Lambeau and Vince Lombardi were mortal locks to make it to Mount Cheesemore. Everyone probably knew that (unless you’re a Vikings fan who happened to stumble upon this site, in which case we’re all very proud of you for finally learning [...] Now that the Green Bay Packers have cleared the most important contract extension hurdle by re-upping wide receiver Greg Jennings, the question of who will be next to cash in has been widely pondered by fans, bloggers and media members alike. It’s an important question. Of the Packers who have contracts up at the end of this [...] On Friday, we posted probably the best anti-Judas joke yet (we’re just bummed we didn’t come up with it). Keeping with that anti-Judas theme (since we all know the announcement of him officially becoming a Viking is coming any day now), we wanted to make you aware of this utterly hilarious item we stumbled upon. And it’s [...] A fantastic Judas joke, sent from Adam to myself via Facebook (feel free to look us up, we’re both there. Gene isn’t, however. But don’t feel bad – he wouldn’t accept your friend request, anyways): Pinocchio, Snow White and Superman are out for a stroll in town one day. As they walk, they come across a [...] Been waiting for the right time to do this during the summer–didn’t want to cramp the flow of the excellent stuff Chris and Adam have been doing. But with the ridiculous ESPN contest Adam alluded to in his last post (seriously, didn’t we just do this with the “new Titletown” thing, and the fact that [...] One down, three to go.
