I could talk ad nauseam about what Brett Favre is eating this morning for breakfast, what he is shooting on the back nine this afternoon, maybe the length of which he cuts his grass, or just fabricate stories from my “sources” such as ESPN does (rimshot!).
But that won’t be happening today. I want to share a couple interesting links with all of you. As I was on PackersProShop.com this morning shopping for a Father’s Day gift (if you are stuck for a gift, Packers’ gear is always a great fallback option), I notice two items in the clearance section that caught my eye, Exhibit I and Exhibit II.
Remember last year when these two issues came out, how hard it was to obtain them and that SI had to print more issues? Now you can have both for only the price $2.94! And they are both on clearance and in-stock.
Maybe you don’t find this as interesting as I do, but if your dad is still a big Brett Favre fan and you looking for something on the cheap, well this wouldn’t be a bad gift.
In other un-related news, earlier this week Dennis Dillon of Sporting News wrote about possible Fresh faces in the 2009 playoffs. Definitely worth a read, especially if you’re trying to pass the waning hours of the work week this afternoon.
